Shelter Hope Founders Emmanuel and Beatrice Tihfon: Empowering the Needy in Africa and USA

Emmanuel and Beatrice Tihfon are the founders of Shelter Hope, a non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to empowering the needy in Africa and the USA. Their passion for helping those in need has been the driving force behind the organization’s success.

The Tihfons were born and raised in Africa and have seen firsthand the challenges that people in underprivileged communities face. They have also experienced the challenges of being immigrants in the USA. These experiences inspired them to create Shelter Hope to empower individuals and communities in need.

Their vision for Shelter Hope is to provide basic necessities like shelter, food, and education to those who lack access to these resources. They believe that by empowering people, they can help them break the cycle of poverty and achieve long-term success.

Emmanuel and Beatrice Tihfon’s passion for helping others has led to the establishment of various programs and initiatives under Shelter Hope. These include providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing to those experiencing homelessness. They also provide basic computer skills training to empower individuals with essential skills for success.

Through their work with Shelter Hope, Emmanuel and Beatrice Tihfon have made a positive impact on the lives of many individuals and communities in need. Their commitment to empowering the needy is an inspiration to all of us.

We can all follow in their footsteps by supporting organizations like Shelter Hope and by finding ways to give back to our communities. By working together, we can make a positive difference in the world and empower those in need to achieve their full potential.

Shelter location plan

In Africa, Shelter Hope for Humanity is in Cameroon but may choose to establish locations in countries or regions that have high poverty rates, inadequate housing, or regions affected by conflict or natural disasters. They might target areas where they can provide shelter, support, and resources to vulnerable populations.

In Dayton, Ohio, Shelter Hope for Humanity may assess the local needs and collaborate with community partners to determine the areas where their services would be most beneficial. This could include identifying neighborhoods or regions with high homelessness rates or areas impacted by socioeconomic challenges

Shelter Hope’s Activity Evaluation: Empowering Communities through Dress Making, Arts and Craft, Computer Knowledge, and Hair Dressing

Shelter Hope for Humanity is committed to empowering communities through various skills training programs. In the first quarter of this year, we evaluated the impact of our programs in dress making, arts and craft, computer knowledge, and hair dressing.

Dress Making Program:

Our dress making program aims to provide women in underprivileged communities with skills to create clothes and generate income. In the first quarter of this year, we trained 50 women who completed the program and started their own small businesses. This program has had a significant impact on the lives of these women, as they are now able to generate income and support their families.

Arts and Craft Program:

Our arts and craft program provides individuals with skills to create unique and handmade products, which they can sell to generate income. In the first quarter of this year, we trained 30 individuals who completed the program and started their own small businesses. This program has not only provided individuals with a means of income but also helped them develop their creativity and self-confidence.

Computer Knowledge Program:

Our computer knowledge program aims to provide individuals with basic computer skills, including email, internet browsing, and using productivity tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel. In the first quarter of this year, we trained 100 individuals who completed the program and can now navigate basic computer tasks. This program has empowered individuals with essential skills needed for success in a world that is becoming increasingly dependent on technology.

Hair Dressing Program:

Our hair dressing program provides individuals with skills to start their own hairdressing businesses. In the first quarter of this year, we trained 20 individuals who completed the program and started their own small businesses. This program has had a significant impact on the lives of these individuals, as they are now able to generate income and support their families.

In conclusion, Shelter Hope’s skills training programs have made a significant impact in the lives of those we serve. We are committed to providing access to resources and training to empower individuals and communities to achieve their full potential. We thank our supporters for their generous donations and commitment to making a positive difference in the world.
